This pushed the 20 day moving average up to 176.33. The ES futures climbed a whopping 507.25 points on Wednesday. In terms of total points this was the largest sing day rally in the ES futures, and it is not even close. On a percentage basis the gain of 10.13% in the futures market is also the largest single day rally, narrowly edging out rallies from March 24, 2020, and March 13, 2020 which were part of the covid drop and bounce. Now the queson comes down to how much of Wednesday’s gains can Thursday’s market hold on to, before we begin Friday.
