| DAILY ISSUE In Today’s Masters in Trading: Live While investors are distracted with the fallout from President Trump’s “Liberation Day” tariffs, today’s Non-Farm Payroll (NFP) report suggests yet another reckoning taking shape in the job market. Nonfarm payrolls increased by 228,000 in March, up from 117,000 in February according to data from the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Labor Statistics. Now, that news is tempered somewhat by the revelation that at least 1.9 million Americans are now collecting unemployment – the highest number since late 2021. Combined with Wednesday’s tariff onslaught, it's no wonder investors are questioning whether the economy can take much more bad news. Perspective is everything whenever we get a one-two punch of panic-inducing market news like this. And I want to make one point very clear… Volatility is a breeding ground for opportunity.
