Markets Are Sounding the Alarm on Tariffs and the S&P 500 Level That Could Change Everything

JOIN US HERE! _________________________________________________   Markets Are Sounding the Alarm on Tariffs and the S&P 500 Level That Could Change Everything  Stocks are down big heading into the open with the Nasdaq leading the sell-off, down about 1.6%, which is way beyond random.  I’ll make a little prediction here… If the S&P 500 falls a decent chunk below its 200-day moving average, and it’s already close, things will start to change fast in regard to the trade wars. Because right now, the market does not like how this is going for the U.S.  Tariffs are a horrible idea — this is not my opinion…  It’s what the market is telling us right now. And once we break below the 200-day MA and everyone starts proclaiming we’re officially in a bear market, I’d bet things will change fast because Trump is not going to like that at all.  Chip stock Marvell (MRVL) is helping lead the way down, falling over 18% on earnings this morning even after a small beat. We also have Costco (COST) and Broadcom (AVGO) reporting today, which have a big influence on retail, and on chips and tech stocks, respectively.   The long bond (TLT) is falling as yields rise, and most of this has to do with the trade war and Marvell earnings, but the Dow is also down well over 400 points.  We had Jobless Claims an hour ahead of the open, which didn’t really tell us anything new.
