Hey y’all,
Let’s talk about one of the fundamental realities of the market…
You have to remember that at all times, in every case, no matter what indicator you’re looking at, what headline you’re reading, what “secret tip” you heard about that means a stock is virtually “guaranteed” to go up…
There’s really only ever ONE thing that drives the markets:
Emotions.
Not just your emotions, either, but the combined emotions of millions of traders and investors of various ages, backgrounds, incomes, financial means, etc.
Have you ever tried to comfort a tired child and been completely baffled by what upset them?
Well, multiply that by several million, and you’ve got a stock market.
The stock market can offer incredible rewards to those with the patience for dealing with it. But you have to have a thick skin.
You have to be ready for the days where things turn completely against you, even when everything looked perfect.
Like a sudden storm on the ocean, you have to be prepared for anything, or, at the very least, willing to withstand even the worst, unpredictable outcome.
If you can’t do that, then you probably don’t want to be trading.
But since you’re here, and you’re reading this, I know that’s not you.
So the important thing is to remind yourself: no matter how rational or controlled you might think your trading setup is, it only takes one emotional outburst from the markets to send everything haywire.
And when that happens, all you can do is pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and get right back on the metaphorical horse.
To your prosperity,
