Now, in 2024, when Bernie Sanders and the right-hand man in Trump’s reelection can find common ground on anything, that’s reason enough for celebration. We’re all too divided as it is.
But I’m more excited about what they’re working on.
I think we can all agree that the soaring U.S. debt is a crisis and we can only whistle past the graveyard for so long…
But the problem is, the only people who can solve the crisis are the people who benefit the most from it: the politicians whose pork barrel projects and entitlement programs help them get reelected.
Whether you’re a fan of Elon Musk or not, an incredibly powerful and self-sufficient outsider coming into the government and taking a serious look at the books might be the only opportunity we have to seriously address things.
And if he sees support across the aisle, from even those on the far Left like Bernie Sanders, he might have a chance to make some serious changes.
Now, it’s not as easy as it sounds…
A huge percentage of the federal budget is used on programs that Trump has already said he won’t touch: Social Security… health care… defense spending…
