Dear Reader, I have something to confess today. I think the #1 Tech Stock of 2025… Will NOT be a typical AI company. The truth is, like with any hot new trend, whether its AI — or the internet in the late ‘90s — investors get carried away too soon. But I think that’s a pretty unreasonable expectation. AI isn’t done… Not by a mile. But there will be a cooling off period. And a new technology will burst onto the scene. Truthfully, it happens every time. How much did the public know about AI before ChatGPT debuted in 2022? I’ll show you…. Take a look at this snapshot of Google searches for AI… See that large spike… That coincides with the release of ChatGPT. Stocks like Nvidia, that had been slowly rising, all the sudden shot up as more and more people became aware of the AI hype. And the same will happen with the next technology to capture the public’s attention. Something that you’ve maybe vaguely heard of, sitting on the backburner, will hit a major breakthrough and become a part of many of our lives. When it does, you can bet stocks in that sector will see exponential growth. Just like we saw with AI… Or the internet… I believe that’s how big this new tech trend will be in 2025.
