Election Special: Big Money Will Flow Here in a Trump Presidency More important than the result of yesterday’s election was the fact that the winner was determined so quickly. I wrote in Monday’s Power Trends that data showed stocks would do well no matter which candidate won, so a decisive and uncontested result may be the most important factor of all in firing up a post-election rally. The biggest investors on Wall Street hate uncertainty, so Big Money typically lightens up when the outcome is up in the air. We saw exactly that in recent weeks. Since roughly mid-September, my proprietary Quantum Edge system showed Big Money buy signals (green bars below) trending lower while the number of sell signals (red bars) increased. Selling wasn’t dramatic, but it’s easy to see on the chart.

That’s yesterday. My system picked up 114 Big Money buy signals to just 37 sell signals – a 3-to-1 ratio. Big Money was moving before the results were known. This dovetails spectacularly well with two other major catalysts that I’ve long said would drive stocks higher into the end of the year. One is market seasonality, which is well-established and highly reliable. November and December are great months for stocks, with November being the best of the year. The other is lower interest rates, and pretty much everyone expects the Federal Reserve will cut again tomorrow. The data here is also clear: When rates fall, stocks rise. All of this together adds up to a fantastic moneymaking opportunity, the opening of a rare wealth accelerator window. You can make the most of it by investing where Big Money will flow.
