Plus, fast-moving stocks for the afternoon!   JOIN US HERE! _________________________________________________   Bond Crunch: How the 10-Year Note Is Squeezing Blue-Chip Stocks, US Economy   Election Day is finally here, and stocks are up a bit premarket but nothing beyond random… We shouldn’t expect anything crazy to happen today, and based on everything we know, they likely won’t call the election until Wednesday morning unless the result is obvious.  If the race is tight, the quiet we’re likely to see today will probably spill into tomorrow. Once a winner is announced, that’s when volatility is likely to pick up. That said, let’s respect America and respect the process! The lower liquidity and volatility we have in the market, the harder it is to figure out where the market is heading. And in instances like that, oftentimes the best thing to do is… Nothing! I do not trade just for the sake of trading, so you shouldn’t let the market rope you in out of boredom or FOMO! The 10-year note is putting blue-chip stocks in a corner because it won’t stop falling, creating a credit crunch.
